Registration Deadline (Census Date)
Except as stated below, registrations will not be accepted after the "Census Date" (21st calendar day following the first day of class) even if you have been attending class.
Tip! Registration is not complete until registration fees and tuition (if applicable) are paid in full.
Registration after the Census Date will not be accepted unless a written appeal with documentation of extenuating circumstances is submitted and accepted by the Office of the Registrar, Administration Building, Room 210. The written appeal and documentation will be forwarded to your college dean for review and approval. By policy, permission from the dean requires extraordinary reasons. Documentation must verify the extenuating circumstances that precluded you from registering, paying fees and attending classes prior to the 21st day.
Examples of extenuating circumstances are:
- Medical problems: You will need a letter of release from your medical provider stating you were unavailable to register, pay fees and attend classes due to illness or injury.
- Legal problems: You will need a letter stating you were unavailable to register, pay fees and attend classes due to legal circumstances.
