Deleting or making changes to existing academic programs

Excerpt from Arizona Board of Regents' Policy Manual, Chapter 2, section 204 "Academic Program Changes"

B. The following academic program changes must be reviewed collectively by the Chief Academic Officers and approved by the Executive Director of the Board prior to announcement and implementation:

  1. Change in the title of an academic degree program.
  2. Disestablishment of any academic degree program.
  3. Transfer of an academic degree program from one organization unit to another.
  4. Merger of two or more academic degree programs.
