Degree Certification Procedures for Undergraduate Students in the College of EducationYou should apply for degree candidacy with your major advisor in the College of Education, in Room 247 of the Education Building. Apply one year before you expect to graduate. A $35 fee will be charged to your Bursar's Office account. Your major advisor will prepare your degree audit packet, review your course work, and make any adjustments necessary to your SAPR (Student Academic Progress Report). Your Senior Degree Check Adjustment Form is then signed by the dean of the college and sent to Noris Montalvan, the Graduation Services advisor for Education. Noris will verify that all requirements for graduation will be met once you complete your final semester of coursework. After your final grades come in, Noris will do a final audit of your records. If you fail to complete your degree requirements, she will mail you a notice explaining what is lacking. Feel free to contact Noris if you have any questions about your degree audit.
