Compliance Manual Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act of 1974 (FERPA): Section IV
DISCLOSURE OF EDUCATION RECORDS TO PARTIES OTHER THAN STUDENTS AND ELIGIBLE PARENTS WITH CONSENT OF THE STUDENT
The University of Arizona will obtain a signed and dated written consent from a student before it discloses personally identifiable information from a student's education records, except as authorized by law (see Section V). This consent will specify the records to be disclosed, the purpose of the disclosure, and the parties to whom the disclosure may be made.
Applicable transcript and photocopy fees must be paid by the requestor. Recipients of University of Arizona transcripts are informed via a statement on the transcript that they are not to redisclose the transcript information to third parties.
